  • Marbling is a centuries-old process of decorating paper. Frequent Bartram’s Garden visitor Benjamin Franklin used this technique as an anti-counterfeiting device for paper currency. Decorate your own paper through the Suminagashi marbling technique. Teaching artist Heather Rinehart approaches fine art through her love of science and history. She has a professional background in illustration and design and a deep interest in nature and storytelling, offering her student’s instruction in multi-disciplinary place-based art.
